Thinking about my recovery reminds me of this card I made using one of my favourite stamp sets of all-time from Stampin Up...."Pun Fun" I have so much fun with these cuties, the whale being one of them. Used SU's chalks to colour the whale, note-to-self...get more into chalking. Click HERE to see a LO I did with the whale and birdie and click HERE to see the set. P.S. My apologies for the terrible lighting, still haven't mastered that yet.

So, as you may have guessed....I sure did give birth to the most precious sweet potato and have fallin' in love all over again with my baby girl Kahlen. Born January 5, 2011 at 6:17pm weighing 8lbs, 14oz...whoa Labour didn't go as planned, but does it ever? hehe And maybe there have been some complications along the way and a slow recovery but thank god it's me and not my little nugget. But hey, starting to feel better and excited to get my fingers a bloggin' again =)
Just wanted to share some photos of "The Love of My Life" Kahlen Alves Tusim... I'm sensing many scrapbook pages of this beauty to come =)

A quick post today. Not much going on in my brain at the moment besides the fact that I'm exhausted and keep looking up at my bed in the big bubble coming from my head. Total daydreaming going on.
So here's a super fast LO (still from my honeymoon). We LOVE Greece!!
Leave a comment if you're curious as to what supplies were used. Yup, I'm even too tired to list them. Yawn. ;-)

Whoa....so last night I walk into my studio and TAH DAH!!!! I have this wonderful hunka chunk of a baby gift waiting for me to open. All the teachers pitched in and bought me a car seat with two bases......WOW, I was in total shock and so grateful to have these ladies in my life. You gals really did outdo yourselves and for the 127th time...THANK YOU!!!!! Big hugz and lots of slobbery kisses to Ashley, Andrea M, Andrea F, Patricia, Vanessa, Natalie, Sonia, Courtney and Sofia...xo yup, I'm loved ;-)
I love it when I say "Pose" and this is what I get......bah ha ha
(From left to right: Andrea F, Ashley & Patricia)
I also love how Ashley says she tried to be creative like me so doodled all over the gift....HAHAHA
Here's my Primo Viaggio SIP car seat.....WOHOOOO Can't wait to install it tonight!
Speaking of gifts, just wanted to share with you what my cheapo self does to wrap a gift. I don't know what it is, but I just can't buy wrapping paper....my body physically doesn't allow this....haha To be honest, it's not the money, I just don't like storing rolls of paper. Less rolls of paper equals more scrapping space =)
I printed a few sheets of "Happy Birthday Corey" that I designed on my puter in 2.5 seconds. Glued the sheets together in about 1.5 minutes and wrapped the gift with personalized paper. He was amazed I found paper with his name on it....HAHAHA
So, I was at the office....and needed to do a quick time card for my hunky hubby and wrap his gift before I got home. Crafting supplies are a no go here so had to do what I had to do. Grabbed a pad of lined paper and went to town. When I got home, I stamped a little cake image, added some Crystal Effects and voila.
Oh man....soooo looking forward to scrapbooking with Akiko this Saturday. It's been awhile :-S

Getting ready for this precious one has been some seriously fun and exciting work. I have been told how much you have to do to prepare for your first child, but hello.....I've been loving every minute of it!!!!
This weekend, my hubba bubba set up the organizer for the nurserys closet since I was so anxious to hang these hangers (all 100 of them....hehe)
I bought them from HERE but you can also get them HERE. Next on the list, a Dutailier Glider =)
Thought it was fitting to share this SUPER FAST birthday card I made for Akiko's hubby, Corey. Can you tell I love this stamp set? Been using it all sorts lately.
Off to more online baby shopping =) tah tah 4 now!

And the fun continues!
We had such a good time at the shower, it really was worth all the time, energy and creativity!
Again, a huge thank you to blogger Hostess with the Mostess at www.hostessblog.com - she has the most amazing ideas for fabulous parties!
I would also like to give a huge thank you to Performing Dance Arts (PDA), located in Woodbridge. Without their help and support, we would not have been able to host such a wonderful shower for such a wonderful person. Thank you so much!!!
Here are some more pics of different things we did for Crystal's baby festival :)
Here is the banner that I made. The lettering and butterfly cutouts were done on the cricut with the storybook cartridge. Perfect for the theme!
Awww...how cute!!! How old is Crystal in this picture? Write a comment with your guess!! (If you were at the baby shower then you already know...so leave it for those who dont know! This should be interesting!!)
What baby festival is complete without a CANDY BUFFET?

I told you I had a CRAZY post coming up....this is it!!!
This past Sunday was the FANTABULOUS Crystal's BABY SHOWER!!! Myself, her mom Teresa and her friend Paola planned the party together. It was an absolute hit!!!
First of all, I must give huge props to blogger Hostess with the Mostess at www.hostessblog.com - she has the most inspirational ideas on the most amazing parties! The Festival du Bebe idea came from her blog - thank you so much for your creativity!!
Everyone loved the butterfly theme, including the guest of honor. We didn't leave any detail unchecked.
Also a big thanks to everyone who contributed to making this shower such a success! As I say, it wasn't a baby shower; it was a baby FESTIVAL!!!
This was outside of the entrance...
Here is what the room looked like..
the centrepieces!
The party favors were Rattles!! I really wanted to do rattles, I was amazed at the lack of rattle favors out there! I will be posting a how-to video on these bad boys soon :)
Paola made the stunning guest book, which doubles as a baby scrapbook for Crystal's new baby! All the guests signed the pages of the guestbook. How creative!!
Crystal's special chair! Another fabulous addition from Paola. Nicely done girl!
There is sooooooooooooo much more to post! Check back on friday for the rest of the fabulous baby festival!!

As Annie would say....."Oh my goodness....oh my goodness!!!!!" Two days later and I'm still glowing from the most incredible Festival Du Bebe....nope, baby shower doesn't cut it, it was definately a Festival. With over 60 of the most fabulous ladies in my life, lots of food, RIDICULOUS decor, fun games and an overwhelming amount of wonderful gifts, I still can't help this massive grinch grin glued to my face, I mean....I can't believe that this was all done just for me and my little sweet potato. All thanks to my fabulous mom, and my besties Akiko and Paola. I can't even describe what they put together, I call it Brilliance! Akiko has better photos to share with you tomorrow, but I have some tons too =) Take a deep breath, it's long.
The theme was a baby festival with butterflies signifying a new beginning....perfect! I even got my own set of wings =)

Thank you Corey & Akiko for the bestest swing!

I just wanted to do a quick post on these delicious Smores cupcakes that I made for my sister Jack and Jill. They were gobbled up in seconds!!
I got the idea from another amazing blogger. For the life of me I cannot find the link to their site! As soon as I do, I will post it.
They are chocolate cupcakes with a marshmallow butter cream icing, graham cracker crumbles and a hershey chocolate square stuck in the top. MMMMM!!!!!
Here we are all done up 50's style! Left to Right: Tiffany, Moma, Sabrina, and me!
I have a CRAZY post coming up next week...be sure to check back for it!
